Position: Sen Teaching Assistant (Temporary)
Full‑Time SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary School (Coventry, Radford Area)

APT Education, the challenger brand in primary recruitment, is seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school near Radford, Coventry. This is a full‑time role, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm, working closely with pupils who require additional support.

🏫 The Role

* Provide 1:1 support for pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN)

* Deliver small group interventions to aid progress in literacy, numeracy, and social development

* Collaborate with teachers and SENCO to adapt learning plans and strategies

* Contribute to the wider school community with empathy, professionalism, and care

✅ Candidate Requirements

* Proven experience supporting pupils with SEN in a UK primary school setting

* Strong knowledge of strategies for supporting children with diverse learning needs

* GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths

* Ability to build positive, trusting relationships with pupils and staff

* A fully enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
