The Opportunity

A well-established secondary school in Coventry is seeking an experienced Science Teacher who can deliver their specialist subject at A Level (Biology, Chemistry or Physics).

This is a long-term opportunity within a strong and supportive Science department, offering excellent facilities, clear behaviour systems, and motivated students who are committed to academic success.

Your Role

You will be responsible for:

Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4, with A Level delivery in your specialism

Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons

Using assessment data to monitor progress and raise attainment

Maintaining strong classroom behaviour and routines

Supporting curriculum development and enrichment opportunities

Inspiring students to progress into further study and STEM pathways

What We're Looking For

We're keen to speak with teachers who have:

QTS or QTLS

Strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry or Physics

Experience teaching A Level Science

Confident behaviour management and classroom presence

A reflective, professional approach with high expectations

The ability to integrate quickly into a collaborative department
