Are you passionate about supporting young people with Special Educational Needs? We are looking for committed and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to join a GOOD Ofsted-rated secondary school in Coventry. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference to students who need additional support, while developing your skills and experience within a supportive school environment.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teaching staff and the SEN department to help students with a range of additional needs thrive in school. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing 1:1 and small-group support for students with SEN (e.g., ASD, ADHD, SEMH, learning difficulties)
• Supporting students in accessing lesson materials across a range of subjects
• Adapting resources and activities to meet individual learning needs
• Encouraging positive behaviour, engagement and independence
• Helping to develop, review and implement personalised learning plans and EHCP targets
• Supporting students' emotional regulation, social development and confidence
• Assisting with classroom routines and general administrative tasks

We are looking for someone who is:

• Experienced supporting young people with SEN (school experience desirable but not essential)
• Patient, empathetic and able to build strong, trusting relationships with students
• Confident communicating with staff, pupils, parents and external professionals
• Calm, resilient and able to respond positively to challenges
• Proactive, adaptable and able to work well as part of a supportive team
• Enthusiastic about inclusion and helping students overcome barriers to learning
