N OW HIRING : SEN Teaching Assistants – Coventry

Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant with a strong background in UK-based special education settings? Prospero Teaching are looking for committed individuals who are ready to step into rewarding roles across Coventry’s SEN schools, supporting students who thrive with the right guidance and care.

• Minimum of 6 months experience supporting children in UK schools (essential)
• Previous work in SEN-specific schools, including support for ASD, SEMH, SLD, or PMLD learners
• Confident in delivering individualised support, both 1:1 and within small groups
• A calm, resilient, and flexible approach to classroom support
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one)
• Bonus if you have training in Team Teach, Makaton, PECS, or similar!

• Supporting learners with complex or additional needs to reach their full potential
• Collaborating with teachers and therapists to follow EHCPs and tailored learning plans
• Encouraging independence, confidence, and positive behaviour
• Adapting classroom activities to support inclusive learning
• Being a consistent and positive presence throughout the school day
