Base Pay RangeUp to two Apprentice Technician roles available to start September 2026, working towards a Level 4 qualification over a four‑year period. The apprenticeship is a Level 4 four‑year programme to become an Engineering Manufacturing Technician. The provider is Warwickshire College. Apprenticeships are full‑time (36.5 hrs a week), comprising three days on site on the University campus in Coventry, and two days of attendance at Warwickshire College in Rugby and Leamington Spa.
Applicants must travel to these sites independently and commence work at 8 am.
You will join the School’s Technical Services team, supporting academics, students and leading research projects. This is a modern technical apprenticeship that combines hands‑on experience with learning.
About You- Have a genuine interest in engineering and technology, with some hands‑on experience in mechanical, electronics or similar projects.
- Be curious and enjoy problem‑solving.
- Show a proactive approach to learning, initiative and willingness to develop new knowledge.
- Work well with others, be a team player and customer‑focused.
- Follow instructions and guidelines, delivering work independently.
- Ask questions and seek feedback to enhance learning.
Applicants must pass any assessment required by the University and/or apprenticeship provider and meet the UK Government’s apprenticeship funding rules.
