APT Education is proud to partner with Coventry schools to recruit a passionate EAL Specialist Teaching Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a lasting impact by supporting pupils with English as an Additional Language (EAL) across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
🔑 Key Responsibilities- Deliver targeted support to pupils with EAL needs, ensuring inclusive access to the curriculum
- Adapt resources and lesson content to meet diverse language and learning requirements
- Work collaboratively with teachers and SEN staff to track progress and celebrate achievements
- Promote confidence, communication, and integration for pupils from multilingual backgrounds
- Uphold safeguarding and compliance standards at every stage of pupil support
- Previous experience supporting EAL learners in a school or nursery setting
- Strong communication skills with cultural awareness and empathy
- Ability to differentiate learning and provide one‑to‑one or small‑group support
- A proactive, reliable, and people‑first approach to education
