Maths Teacher - KS3 & KS4 (Independent School)

A longstanding and respected independent school in Coventry is seeking an experienced and passionate Maths Teacher to join their team ASAP or from January 2026. This role offers the opportunity to teach engaged learners in a well-resourced, nurturing environment where academic achievement and personal development are equally valued.
The Role- Teach high-quality Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons for mixed-ability groups
- Use assessment effectively to track progress and raise achievement
- Maintain strong behaviour routines and create a positive learning climate
- Contribute to curriculum planning and department development
- Build productive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents
- QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
- Experience teaching at KS3 & KS4 (GCSE required)
- Excellent behaviour management and lesson delivery skills
- A reflective, committed practitioner who strives for excellence
- Ability to integrate quickly into a warm, close-knit independent school community
- Supportive SLT and a collaborative Maths department
- Smaller class sizes or enhanced pastoral structures allowing excellent individual focus
