• Providing 1:1 support for a non-verbal pupil with additional needs
• Using visual aids, gestures, and alternative communication tools (AAC)
• Supporting emotional regulation and sensory needs
• Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and external specialists
• Creating a safe, predictable environment that fosters trust and progress

• Experience in SEN, care, or communication support roles
• Calm, patient, and emotionally attuned
• Familiarity with non-verbal communication strategies (PECS, Makaton, AAC) is a plus
• Passionate about inclusion and pupil wellbeing
• Committed to consistency, empathy, and reflective practice
