PE Teacher

Position: PE Teacher (Permanent)
As a PE Teacher, you will deliver engaging and inspiring lessons that promote physical fitness, teamwork and wellbeing.

Responsibilities include:

* Planning and delivering high-quality, differentiated PE lessons in line with the national curriculum

* Teaching a broad PE curriculum across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience welcomed where applicable)

* Promoting healthy lifestyles, sportsmanship and physical confidence

* Assessing, monitoring and tracking student progress to support achievement

* Creating a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment

* Working collaboratively with the Head of PE, support staff and wider school team

* Adapting teaching to support students with SEND, EAL or additional learning needs

* Building strong relationships with students, parents and colleagues

* Contributing to extracurricular sports, clubs, fixtures and enrichment activities

About You

We are looking for a PE Teacher who is:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) preferred – ECTs and experienced teachers encouraged to apply

* Confident teaching PE across KS3 and KS4

* Passionate about physical education, health and student wellbeing

* Calm, reflective and consistent in their approach to behaviour management

* A strong communicator who works effectively within a team

* Organised, adaptable and confident in managing practical lessons and routines
