Overview

Finham Park Multi Academy Trust is recruiting a Teacher of Music to join the Performing Arts department. The successful candidate will be required to teach Music to Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 and to Key Stage 5 as the sixth form offer develops.

Finham Park 2 is an 11–19 co-educational comprehensive school on the West side of Coventry near the Solihull border and close to Warwick University. The school opened in 2015 and has grown year on year, including a 6th form opened in 2020. A new building opened in 2016 with facilities including a brand-new sports hall. The school is oversubscribed and records positive Ofsted feedback from November 2023: a good school with a purposeful atmosphere, a calm and orderly environment, and a highly ambitious curriculum.

The majority of students are happy, well-behaved and wear the uniform with pride, with approximately 85+% starting with middle or higher attainment.

We offer an exciting curriculum that provides opportunities for all students to achieve and make progress, regardless of starting points; the curriculum is designed to nurture talents and provide exceptional opportunities for students to have meaningful experiences.
