About You

We are looking for a patient, confident, and empathetic SEND Teaching Assistant / SEND Practitioner who can support students with a range of additional learning needs, including SEND, SEMH challenges, and communication barriers. Experience in or willingness to complete Trauma-Informed Practice training is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

Provide one-to-one or small group support for students with SEND

Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) or EHCPs

Adapt learning resources to suit a variety of abilities

Monitor progress and contribute to assessments

Collaborate with teachers, pastoral staff, and families to support learning

Promote independence, confidence, and engagement in the classroom
