There is currently a high demand for SEN Teaching Assistants and jobs are available on a temporary and permanent basis. new roleHays are currently recruiting for SEN Teaching Assistants to start immediately in Coventry. These jobs are available on a long-term basis, which means you could be working from one term up to the whole academic year. Ideally, you will be available full-time. However, part-time options are also available.

Many of the schools are easily accessible by public transport. However, it would be an advantage if you do drive. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be required to work with children of specific age groups and educational needs on a 1:1 or small group basis.What you'll need to succeedYou must have SEN experience within a childcare environment, including schools, nurseries and social care settings.

Ideally, you will have worked with children that are diagnosed with Autism, ADHD, Down Syndrome, Global Delay and those that present challenging behaviours.
