When teaching Maths, you will:

• Help students to become effective problem-solvers and build confidence
• Bring clarity to challenging topics like algebra, geometry and statistics
• Create the rewarding 'lightbulb' moments where your students get Maths

The programme is structured to help you grow in confidence and ability:

• 4 days in school – gaining hands-on experience
• 1 day per week – PGCE study and professional development
• Term 1:
  Observe experienced teachers and support lessons to learn the fundamentals
• Term 2:
  Begin planning and delivering your own lessons
• Term 3:
  Take on more responsibility and refine your teaching style

You’ll be supported throughout the process with a dedicated mentor, ongoing feedback and a structured training programme.

• Graduates with a Maths or related degree (2:1 or above preferred)
• Strong A-Level Maths
• Interest in working with young people
• Confident communicators
