Vision for Education are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to work on a full-time basis conducting 1:1 support with a pupil in a Year 2 with behavioural needs with an EHCP. There is more than one vacancy available, so we are looking for candidates to work in EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
About the role- Working on a 1:1 basis
- Supporting a student in Year 2 with an EHCP/ behavioural needs
- Use a child‑centred approach to provide the best support for student’s learning and development.
- This Teaching Assistant role is a full‑time, long‑term role from January on an ongoing basis.

- Dedicated sensory room and quiet space
- Have previous experience working with primary‑aged children and students with a range of special educational needs.
- Suitable qualifications to work with young people and support students with SEND, this is highly desirable.
- Have strong communications skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with students.
- Be able to work as part of a team and be confident dealing with occasional behavioural challenges
- Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
