SEND Assessor - Adult Education

We are seeking a skilled and empathetic Assessor to join our Adult Education team. You will support a diverse range of learners, including those with SEND and additional learning needs, to successfully complete and achieve their learning programmes. You will plan and deliver inclusive, high‑quality assessment, adapting your approach to meet individual needs. Working closely with tutors and partners, you will provide clear, supportive feedback that builds confidence, promotes progress and enables independence.

• Plan and deliver inclusive, high‑quality assessment for adult and community learners
• Adapt assessment approaches to meet individual learning needs, including SEND and additional learning needs
• Provide clear, supportive feedback that builds confidence, promotes progress and enables independence
• Collaborate with tutors and partners to support learners
• Monitor and report on progress and achievement

• Experience of assessment in an adult and community learning setting
• Strong communication skills and genuine commitment to inclusion
• Patient, learner‑centred approach with the ability to support individuals with varying needs
• Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship offered)
