Pro rata £19,200 - £21,823 (31.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year)
31.5 hours per week over 5 days, term time only plus 5 teacher training days
Cover Supervisor Foxford Community SchoolWe are seeking an enthusiastic, self‑motivated professional to join our student support team as a cover supervisor. You will play a vital role in the school, covering short periods of absence, providing valuable classroom experience and serving as a stepping stone to a teaching role. Confidence, enthusiasm and the ability to inspire students are essential.
Key responsibilities
- Lead planned lessons for students in the absence of their regular teacher.
- Maintain student learning and support academic progress.
- Provide pastoral support as a tutor and help students meet aspirational targets.
- Collaborate with colleagues to deliver quality teaching and support.
Qualifications and skills
- Good interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Ability to relate to young people and inspire confidence.
- Experience or interest in teaching and classroom management (desired).
