About the role:
A nurturing and dedicated KS2 Class Teacher is required to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Coventry. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to raising pupil achievement, promoting wellbeing, and creating an inspiring classroom environment where every child can thrive. This role is to start September 2026.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality and creative teaching across Key Stage 2
- Plan and assess effectively to meet the needs of all learners
- Foster a safe and engaging classroom culture with high expectations for behaviour
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies
- Contribute to the wider life of the school through clubs, enrichment, and celebration events
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 2
- Strong understanding of early years pedagogy and child development
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- A caring and adaptable approach to teaching
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education
- Two education or school-based references are essential
