Tutor of Outdoor Education

Job Overview

Based at Plas Dol y Moch Outdoor Education Centre in the heart of Eryri, North Wales, you will be part of the Coventry Outdoors team, helping to deliver inspiring outdoor adventure learning experiences to a range of groups visiting the centre, including young people, schools, families and adults.

• Plan and deliver high‑quality, engaging, and safe programmes that meet the needs of diverse groups.
• Support participants to develop confidence, resilience, teamwork and independence while enjoying the unique opportunities offered by the mountains, lakes, rivers and underground environments of Eryri.
• Contribute to all aspects of centre life, including residential duties, equipment checks and maintenance, and maintaining a welcoming and supportive environment.

• Term‑time only working an average of 28 or 24 hours per week across the school term on a pro‑rata salary basis.
• Staff scheduled overnight duties (approximately 26 per year) receive an additional allowance of approximately £40 per duty.

This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and requires a satisfactory DBS check.
