SEND TEACHER

What do we need?

QTS – ECT’s welcome
SEND experience or real interest in pursuing a career in SEND
Capacity for kindness
Ability to plan creatively for learners of all abilities
Exceptional communication skills
Organised approach with capacity to cope with all aspects of the role
Progressive attitude to SEND practice and teaching techniques
Knowledge of the curriculum and strategies to differentiate lessons
Awareness of what inspires a child to learn
Able to work with TA’s and other support staff
