About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Food Technology Teacher to join a well-regarded secondary school in the Coventry and Warwickshire area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed educator to inspire students and contribute to a thriving Design & Technology department.

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality Food Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, encouraging students to develop practical skills, creativity, and an understanding of nutrition and food preparation.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging and practical Food Technology lessons
Assess, monitor, and track student progress
Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
Contribute to curriculum development within the department
Support students of varying abilities to achieve their full potential
Candidate Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
Proven UK secondary school teaching experience
Experience teaching Food Technology at KS3 and KS4
Strong classroom management skills
A passion for food education and student engagement
Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
