Temporary to Permanent Recruitment Day Taking Place in July About the Role Hays Education is recruiting for SEN Teaching Assistants / Learning Support Assistants to support learners within a specialist education setting from September 2026. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with students who have special educational needs (SEN), helping them access education, build confidence, and develop key life skills.

Key Responsibilities Provide 1:1 and small group support to learners with SEN Support students with additional learning, emotional, and behavioural needs Assist in delivering engaging and inclusive learning activities Support learners with personal care where required Help maintain a safe, structured, and positive learning environment Work collaboratively with teaching staff and wider support teams What you'll need to succeed To be considered for this role, you must:
Have previous experience supporting learners with SEN Be confident and comfortable supporting with personal care when needed Demonstrate patience, resilience, and a proactive attitude Have strong communication and teamwork skills What you'll get in return ?
