Why apply?
  • Earn £26,761 while you train
  • Gain your PGCE and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in just 12 months
  • Spend most of your time in the classroom, not a lecture hall
  • Develop practical teaching skills in a real classroom environment

Learn from experienced teachers in a fully supported training programme

What’s the school like?

You’ll be joining a thriving school with high standards that offers:

What does the training look like?

The programme is structured to help you grow in confidence and ability:

  • 4 days in school – gaining hands‑on experience
  • 1 day per week – PGCE study and professional development
  • Term 1:
Observe experienced teachers and support lessons to learn the fundamentals
  • Term 2:
Begin planning and delivering your own lessons
  • Term 3:
Take on more responsibility and refine your teaching style

You’ll be supported throughout the process with a dedicated mentor, ongoing feedback and a structured training programme.
