Competitive starting salary range from £46,115 up to £52,597 (dependent on experience) with the potential to progress. A discretionary range for candidates with exceptional experience can be discussed/considered.

The RoleWe are looking for a passionate and motivated CBT therapist to join the team currently delivering our Postgraduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. This is a well-established programme with excellent reputation nationally in the delivery of NHS-commissioned training. The course sits alongside our Graduate/Postgraduate Certificate in Low Intensity Psychological Interventions; there will be opportunities to deliver teaching across each of these training programmes.
You will support the Associate Head of Department/Course Director and wider team members in delivering psychological therapies training in line with our national curricula and professional body requirements. You will also undertake teaching sessions and workshops, marking clinical and academic submissions, and supporting trainees in their professional development via clinical supervision.
Qualifications Required- Master’s degree in an appropriate subject OR (if from a professional practice background) a good Honors Degree and an appropriate professional qualification and/or membership
- Teaching qualification OR experience of delivering professional and/or university education
- Active membership of, and accreditation by, an appropriate professional body (BABCP)
Applications are invited from BABCP-accredited psychotherapists, with a good understanding and working knowledge of the High Intensity CBT role within NHS stepped-care Talking Therapies services. You will share our passion for delivering a positive and inclusive training experience within which our trainees can thrive, and beyond which they can uphold the values of ethical, competent and patient-centred practitioners. Applicants will need to demonstrate significant knowledge in this area of clinical specialisation, and be committed to supporting the design and delivery of teaching that is engaging, innovative and which facilitates proficiency in cognitive behavioural assessment and intervention.
