About the role:
Justteachers Supply Agency are seeking a full‑time English Teacher to work with one of our partner secondary schools in the Coventry area, starting from April 2026. This long‑term position is expected to last until the end of the academic year with the possibility of becoming a permanent position.
The school is a ‘Good’ Ofsted school based in the North Coventry area. It is both a Primary and Secondary school with an excellent SLT.
Key Responsibilities:- Designing and teaching lessons covering reading, writing, speaking, and listening, often focusing on vocabulary, grammar, and literature
- Setting assignments, marking work regularly, and using data to track student progress and attainment
- Creating a supportive, safe, and positive learning environment while managing student behaviour
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Proven experience teaching English to GCSE level
- Strong classroom management and behaviour support strategies
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Two references we are able to apply for, desirably from an educational setting
