Job Description

We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a talented and enthusiastic Teacher of Business Studies to join a successful secondary school in Coventry from September 2026. Whether you are an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or about to complete your teacher training, this role provides an excellent foundation to develop your career within a supportive and ambitious school community.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging Business Studies lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, creating an inclusive classroom environment where every student is encouraged to achieve their full potential. Alongside high-quality teaching, you will monitor student progress, provide meaningful feedback, and contribute to the ongoing development of the curriculum and wider department.

As a valued member of our staff, you will also take an active role in the broader life of the school, supporting enrichment opportunities and helping to foster a positive and vibrant learning community.

Requirements

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be due to achieve QTS by September 2026.
Have a degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related subject.
Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and a passion for Business Studies.
Be an effective communicator with strong organisational and classroom management skills.
Be committed to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
Have the ability to motivate, challenge, and inspire students of all abilities.
