We are looking for an enthusiastic and supportive Facilitator to join our Skills, Employment & Adult Education Service. In this role, you’ll help deliver engaging learning activities in community settings across Coventry, supporting adult learners to achieve their goals. You’ll carry out community outreach and engagement activities, promoting learning opportunities across the city and encouraging Coventry residents to enrol in our programmes.
Assist with planning sessions, preparing materials, and guiding learners through their educational journey.
This post is a fixed term contract in the first instance until 31st July 2027.
Who are we looking for?We are looking for a supportive and adaptable individual with experience in educational or community settings to help deliver engaging adult learning activities. The ideal candidate will understand the barriers adults face in education and be committed to helping learners overcome them. You should be confident in facilitating learning, preparing materials, supporting learners’ progress and conducting outreach and engagement. Strong communication, organisational skills, and a willingness to engage in professional development are essential.
You’ll also need to promote equity, diversity, and safeguarding in all aspects of your work. Relevant subject qualifications and Level 2 English and maths are required.
All candidates must have the Right to Work in the UK. We are currently not offering sponsorship for this role.
This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment to this post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
