Community and Sport Educator Apprentice

Introduction

Support PE delivery in primary schools, assist coaching sessions, and develop skills through our apprenticeship programme n hands‑on experience, mentoring, and qualifications while inspiring young people through sport.

• Support sessions during school hours, after school and weekends.
• Support the delivery of high quality and inclusive PE lessons to pupils in schools in line with the requirements of national curriculum for PE and the profile of needs across the pupil population.
• Work across multiple sites (travel required).
• Engage with pupils in a fun and professional manner.
• Complete apprenticeship coursework and training.
• Support children in the classroom.
• Safeguard children at all times.

What career pathways could this lead to?

• Sports Coach in a School Setting – Plan and deliver exciting sports sessions, helping students develop their physical abilities and a love for sports.
• Unqualified PE Teacher – Level 4 apprenticeship provides a strong foundation to lead PE lessons under the guidance of qualified staff.
