Morgan Hunt is delighted to be working with a leading Further Education college to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated English Lecturer
.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced English Lecturer or qualified English Teacher looking to make a positive impact within the FE sector. You will deliver engaging and inspiring lessons to learners studying GCSE English
, Functional Skills English
, and other English qualifications, helping students develop the skills and confidence they need to achieve their goals.

As an English Lecturer, your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering high-quality teaching across GCSE and/or Functional Skills English programmes.
• Planning and preparing engaging lessons that meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Assessing student work and providing timely, constructive feedback.
• Monitoring learner progress and implementing strategies to improve achievement.
• Creating a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to develop and enhance the English curriculum.
• Maintaining accurate learner records and meeting awarding body requirements.

To be considered for this role, you will have:

• A recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE, Cert Ed, DET, DTLLS, QTS or QTLS

• A degree in English or a related subject.
• Experience teaching GCSE English
  , Functional Skills English
  , or both within a Further Education or secondary education setting.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• A genuine passion for education and helping learners achieve their full potential.
