Are you passionate about the Spanish language and culture? Do you have the enthusiasm and ambition to inspire young people to become confident linguists and global citizens? We are looking for an exceptional Teacher of Spanish to join a successful Modern Foreign Languages department in Coventry. The successful candidate will have the ability to deliver engaging and challenging lessons that motivate students to develop their communication skills, cultural understanding, and confidence in language learning.
YourContribution
- Teach Spanish across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, delivering lessons that inspire curiosity and enjoyment.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel confident to communicate in Spanish.
- Use a range of teaching strategies to engage learners of all abilities and promote excellent progress.
- Assess student learning effectively and provide meaningful feedback that supports continued improvement.
- Play an active role in developing the Spanish curriculum and sharing best practice within the department.
- Support enrichment activities, including cultural events, language competitions, educational visits, or exchange opportunities where appropriate.
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be working towards achieving it.
- Have excellent subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching Spanish.
- Demonstrate high expectations for student achievement, behaviour, and participation.
- Be committed to delivering high-quality teaching and continually developing their own practice.
- Thrive as part of a collaborative department and contribute positively to the wider school community.
