The Department of Geography and the Scott Polar Research Institute at the University of Cambridge invite applications for a University Assistant Professorship in Polar Studies. The post is available from 1 January 2027, or as soon as possible thereafter.
The ideal candidate will lead polar research with teaching across Geography and Polar Studies at undergraduate and Masters level, supervise PhD students and postdoctoral researchers, and secure external funding.
