Overview

Have you recently completed your teaching training and yet to secure a teaching position? Vision for Education has recently been approached by a client primary school based in Coventry. The school is looking for an ECT to join their KS2 team from September 2026.

The Role

You will be taking on all teaching duties within a Year 4 Class on a full‑time basis. The school is looking for someone who can commit to a 1‑year contract initially, with potential to become full‑time permanent for the right teacher.

Vision for Education works with many client schools across the area and supports ECTs to find posts that are right for them. Working in local primary schools across Coventry and Warwickshire will build links that make you appealing to future employers.

Schools

Vision for Education works with a range of ‘Good’ and ‘Outstanding’ primary schools in Coventry and Warwickshire and surrounding areas who will be recruiting new staff for Easter and September 2026.

To be considered for the role

To be considered for the Primary Teacher ECT Pool you will:

  • Have experience teaching in a primary school setting
  • Deliver and mark work
  • Build rapport with colleagues and students
  • Have excellent time‑management and organisation skills
  • Have knowledge of the EYFS or KS1 or KS2 Primary teaching curriculum
  • Hold or be in the process of obtaining QTS
  • Provide references covering the last 2 years of both education and employment – school placement
  • Have a passion for working with children
  • Be flexible and adaptable, open to working in a range of different schools in and around the surrounding areas
  • Driving licence desirable but not essential
Salary

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.

Minimum requirements:

QTS and recent relevant experience.
