Full time equivalent salary: £8.00 an hour £12,514 per annum, pro rata

Location: Frederick Bird Academy, Coventry

We are seeking to appoint an apprentice sports coach to joinour team. The successful apprentice will be expected to apply themselves to the apprenticeship with commitment and diligence. The apprentice will also be be required to commit to the school's values and ethos.

The postholder will need to deliver engaging multisporttraining programmes to children/young people including those who have special physical, emotional and educational needs.

We are looking for someone who:

• Hasgood communication skills
• Canwork as part of a team
• Hasgood literacy and numeracy skills
• Is motivated to develop as an individual and complete the training to achieve the apprenticeship qualification

All staff are expected to know whatto do if they have concerns about a child, take on the responsibility for providing a safe environment and promoting children's welfare, undertake regular safeguarding and child protection training and, familiarise themselves with KCSIEpart 1 and local policies and procedures as directed by the trust/academy.
