Welsh Speaking Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel are currently looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistants to work across primary schools in Cardiff. Whether you have previous experience working in schools or are looking to take your first step into education, we would love to hear from you.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support pupils with their learning and development in the classroom.
• Work alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging activities.
• Provide one-to-one and small-group support where required.
• Help create a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
• Build strong relationships with pupils and staff.
• Support pupils' wellbeing and confidence throughout the school day.

The successful candidate will:

• Be fluent or confident in Welsh
  .
• Have a genuine passion for working with children.
• Be patient, enthusiastic and reliable.
• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Have previous experience working with children or young people (desirable, but not essential).

Experience in a school, nursery, childcare, tutoring, youth work or similar setting is highly valued.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
