Hays Education are working with a wide range of primary schools across Coventry and are looking for reliable and enthusiastic teachers for supply work throughout the academic year.

Your new role

As a Supply Teacher, you'll have the opportunity to work across a range of primary schools covering EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

Assignments can range from day-to-day cover to longer-term teaching positions, including maternity cover, PPA cover, intervention work and fixed-term contracts. Many of our teachers enjoy the flexibility that supply offers, while others use it as a route into longer-term or permanent opportunities.

Whether you're looking for regular work each week or occasional teaching opportunities to fit around your commitments, we can help find roles that suit you.

What you'll need to succeed

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Recent experience teaching within a primary school setting
Good knowledge of the primary curriculum
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Flexibility and adaptability
Excellent communication skills
A positive and professional approach
