Finham Park School is looking to recruit a passionate and conscientious teaching assistant to provide support for some of our students with special educational needs.

You will join a dedicated, experienced, and collaborative team within our Gateway provision, where inclusion is not just a priority but ashared passion. We offer a comprehensive induction programme, alongside ongoing opportunities for professional development-allowing you to grow in the rolewhile contributing your own experience, insights, and expertise.

This role is designed at a recent school/university leaverwho wishes to gain valuable experience in a school environment before pursuing further opportunities within education that may include progression within SEND support, but also teaching, educational psychology and other school-based careers.

The successful candidate will benefit from both onsite training, and access to external qualifications to help them build their CV. Acomprehensive induction programme will also be offered.

Finham Park is a popular and successful 11
-18 comprehensive school situated in the south-west of Coventry. It has an excellent reputation within the local community as well as nationally and internationally. Theschool performs consistently well across all measures with attendance and exam results exceeding both regional and national averages.

A particular strength of the school is the comprehensive CPDprogramme. Finham Park believes in utilising its existing expertise from colleagues, and thus all staff are encouraged to offer CPD to the rest of theschool. Therefore, weekly sessions of CPD are offered and staff sign up fortheir areas of interest. We have a broad induction programme for all new staffand trainees. Finham Park has also been instrumental in creating Teaching and Learning Communities as part of our CPD programme.
