SEND Teaching Assistant

West Midlands/ temporary / £90 - 110 per day

Teacher Active is working with a welcoming mainstream school in Lichfield that is looking to appoint a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant for an immediate start.

The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will provide dedicated support to two children
, working across Early Years to KS2
. You will help support their academic, social and emotional development, adapting activities to meet individual needs and helping both children access learning confidently.

• Have experience supporting children with SEND or additional needs
• Be confident working with pupils from Early Years through to KS2
• Provide individualised support to two children
• Support learning, communication, independence and emotional development
• Work closely with the class teacher and wider SEND team
• Be patient, nurturing and able to build positive relationships
• Be committed to a long-term, term-time position

• Competitive pay of £95–£110 per day
