The Position
:
We’re looking for an Engineering General Workshop Supervisor
North Warwickshire and South Leicestershire College is one of the largest and most successful colleges in the region.
The College understands the importance of recruiting talented and passionate staff that are central to all College achievements and are the driving force in the success of our learners.
- Hold a recognised trade qualification.
- Significant and recent work experience in the Engineering sector, mainly focusing on manual machining, i.e. working with Lathes and Milling machines.
- Willingness to work flexibly in terms of role and hours.
- Issuing and recording of tools, equipment and materials to staff and students as required
- Ensuring security and cleanliness of workshops including stores, work and circulation areas
- The fabrication and construction of rigs and resources
- Ordering of tools and equipment
- Assisting in the delivery of education and training designed by others
