Inclusion Teacher:SEND

The successful candidate will provide high-quality, personalised teaching and support for students with a range of SEND needs, helping them develop confidence, independence and the skills they need to thrive academically and personally.

We would very much welcome applications from teachers who have worked in mainstream primary or within specialist settings.

• Lead the SEND Support Base and provide high-quality provision for students with a range of additional needs.
• Create a positive, inclusive and trauma-informed learning environment.
• Deliver engaging and adapted teaching across the curriculum, including provision aligned to Key Stage 2 attainment levels.
• Support students working towards Functional Skills qualifications and vocational pathways.
• Work closely with the SENCO, support staff, families and external agencies to ensure pupils receive the support they need to achieve their potential.
• Lead, coach and direct support staff within the SEND Support Base, promoting best practice in adaptive teaching and behaviour support.

• Has experience of teaching and supporting students with SEND.
• Has high expectations and a belief that every child can succeed.
• Is committed to inclusive education and removing barriers to learning.
• Can build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
• Demonstrates outstanding classroom practice and strong behaviour management skills.
• Is reflective, resilient and committed to continuous professional development.
