MathsandEnglishuptoGCSElevel
withinalternativeprovision.

The primary Student Practitionerwillworkdirectlywithprimaryagespupilswhorequire Alternative Provisionduetobehavioural ,emotional,social,medicalorothercomplexneeds.

Theroleinvolvessupportingpupilstoengagepositivelywithlearning,developsocialandemotionalskills,improveattendanceandbehaviour,andachievepositiveoutcomes.

Thesuccessfulcandidatewillbuildpositiverelationshipswithpupils,promote inclusion,andcontributetoasafe,nurturing,andtrauma-informedlearningenvironment.

WorkingwithKS3andKS4studentsyouwillberesponsibleforplanninganddeliveringengagement,differentiated

Mathsand

Englishsessionstosmallgroupsorindividualleaners,manyofwhommayfacebarrierstomainstreameducation.

Youwillplayavitalroleinsupportingacademicprogress,engagementandpersonaldevelopment.

• Use Restorativeandtrauma-informedapproachestosupportbehaviour

• Help Pupilsidentifystrategiestomanageemotions

• Supportpupilsduringperiodsofdysregulationandcrisis

• Implementbehavioursupportplansandriskassessments

• Contributetocreatingacalm,safeandnurturinglearningenvironment.

• Deliver Mathsand Englishupto GCSElevel
  toKS3andKS4students

• Workeffectivelywithlearnersin
  alternative provision
  settings

• Plan,prepareandadaptlessonstomeetindividuallearningneeds

• MonitorprogressandprovideclearfeedbacktolearnersandPET-Xistaff

• Promotepositivebehaviour,engagementandemotionalregulation

• Uphold safeguarding,wellbeingandinclusivepracticeatalltimes

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) orrelevantteaching/tutoring qualification

• Experienceworkingwithlearnerswith
  SEMH,SEND,ordisengagedlearners

• FunctionalSkillsorGCSEteachingexperienceinalternativeprovisioncontexts

• Workofferedonaflexible,sessionalbasis

• Competitivedayorhourlyrates(dependentonexperienceanddeliverymodel)
