Teaching Assistant Maternity Cover

A fixed-term Teaching Assistant post at Ash Green School, part of Creative Education Trust, covering a maternity leave expected to run to July 2026, though it may be extended or shortened. The work centres on supporting students academically and personally, building positive relationships and working alongside teaching staff across classroom, pastoral and year-group roles. Term-time only, 30 hours a week over 38 weeks plus INSET days.

Candidates need experience supporting young people, GCSE-level English and maths, and an enhanced DBS check.

• Support pupils academically and personally in the classroom

• Experience supporting young people in a school or a transferable setting

• Numeracy and literacy equivalent to GCSE English and maths at grades A*–C / 9–4
