Class Teacher - Maternity Cover

Maternity cover class teacher post at The Vale Academy, a primary school for children aged 2 to 11, on a full-time fixed-term contract for one year. • Teach the Advantage Schools curriculum to a class of pupils
• Use assessment to respond to pupils and fill gaps in their knowledge
• Ensure teaching and learning is supported by robust research and evidence
• Maintain and contribute to curriculum development, championing the school's approach to curriculum delivery
• Work as part of the teaching team and help develop other teaching staff where appropriate
• Support very high expectations and standards in all aspects of school life
• Ensure safeguarding procedures and practices are followed rigorously
