A permanent SEND Behaviour Mentor post at Ash Green School, one of the schools in Creative Education Trust. The core of the work is supporting students with additional educational needs to reach their potential, managing behaviour calmly and putting SEND support strategies into practice. Hours are full time but term time only, across 39 weeks. Candidates need prior experience in a similar role and working knowledge of supporting young people with SEND.

- Support students with additional educational needs to achieve their full potential
- Manage student behaviour effectively, with a calm and professional approach
- Implement strategies that support the development of young people with SEND
- Deliver literacy and numeracy interventions
- Support students' learning and development
- Relevant experience in a similar role
- Experience of delivering literacy and numeracy interventions successfully
- Working knowledge of meeting the needs of young people with SEND
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage student behaviour with a calm, professional approach
- Confident, organised and adaptable
- Enhanced DBS check
- Separate Barred List check
- References
