Concrete Plant Supervisor

• Operate the batching plant safely and efficiently in line with company procedures.
• Batch, mix and dispatch concrete/mortar accurately to meet customer requirements.
• Liaise with the Order Office to ensure production schedules and customer demands are met.
• Respond to customer enquiries and orders in a professional and courteous manner.
• Maintain plant, buildings and associated areas in a clean, tidy and safe condition.
• Carry out routine maintenance inspections, report defects and record required actions.
• Supervise contractors, hauliers and visitors to ensure compliance with site safety procedures.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure sufficient approved materials are always available.
• Conduct weekly visual stock checks and monthly stock verification.
• Ensure waste disposal, water discharge and dust emissions comply with environmental procedures.
• Maintain compliance with company policies relating to Health & Safety, quality control, environmental standards and fraud prevention.
• Continuously review plant performance and working methods to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Maintain site security at all times and report issues to the Operations Manager.
• Undertake any additional duties required to support the business.

• Experience working within a plant, manufacturing, construction or production environment.
• Confidence using computer‑based batching and dispatch systems.
• Strong awareness of Health & Safety and environmental procedures.
• Organised with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proactive and problem‑solving approach.
• Full UK driving licence (preferred).
