Asbestos Consultant – Midlands, UK

RSK Asbestos seeks an ambitious surveyor or analyst to join our team within the Midlands, UK. This role combines home, site and office based work.

• Travel across the UK to client sites as required.
• Complete site works defined within the scope of work provided by the Project Manager.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders including clients and contractors on site, providing feedback.
• Report issues to Project Managers and clients where necessary.
• Advise clients on asbestos liabilities and management requirements.
• Train, supervise and audit other staff, dependent on experience.
• Accurately record site data and generate test reports and certificates in a timely manner.
• Take representative site photographs and prepare annotated site plans.
• Complete quality control, equipment management and KPI requirements in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with the Quality, Technical and Project Managers to ensure work is carried out in compliance with the quality system to a high standard.

• Full UK driving licence.
• BOHS P402, 403 and 404 or RSPH equivalents.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Highly disciplined, honest and versatile with a can‑do attitude.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, under pressure, and as part of a team.
• Adequate knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation.

• Salary up to £38,000, depending on experience.
