Asbestos Consultant – Midlands, UK
RSK Asbestos seeks an ambitious surveyor or analyst to join our team within the Midlands, UK. This role combines home, site and office based work.
Responsibilities- Travel across the UK to client sites as required.
- Complete site works defined within the scope of work provided by the Project Manager.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders including clients and contractors on site, providing feedback.
- Report issues to Project Managers and clients where necessary.
- Advise clients on asbestos liabilities and management requirements.
- Train, supervise and audit other staff, dependent on experience.
- Accurately record site data and generate test reports and certificates in a timely manner.
- Take representative site photographs and prepare annotated site plans.
- Complete quality control, equipment management and KPI requirements in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the Quality, Technical and Project Managers to ensure work is carried out in compliance with the quality system to a high standard.
- Full UK driving licence.
- BOHS P402, 403 and 404 or RSPH equivalents.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Highly disciplined, honest and versatile with a can‑do attitude.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, under pressure, and as part of a team.
- Adequate knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation.
- Salary up to £38,000, depending on experience.
