I'm supporting an established engineering business that, due to continued growth across its project and delivery operations, is looking to appoint an experienced Project Delivery Engineer. This is a customer-facing, delivery-focused role within a quality-driven engineering environment, supporting projects from initial concept through to on-site delivery and close-out.
The business delivers engineered technology solutions for demanding applications. This role offers long-term stability, exposure to varied projects and stakeholders, and the opportunity to play a key role in ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality project execution while maintaining first-class customer service.
Responsibilities- Support quotations and estimates by assessing work scope, risks, and delivery timescales.
- Own project delivery from planning and cost control through to site completion.
- Attend project kick-off meetings and provide on-site support across the UK.
- Produce and approve work instructions, RAMS, and ensure site readiness.
- Act as the primary customer contact during on-site project delivery and close-out.
- BTEC / HND in Electrical Engineering or having a technical Engineering background
- Experience delivering or supporting engineering projects in a site-based environment.
- Strong understanding of project costs, budgets, and commercial impacts.
- Be able to read Engineering drawings
- Excellent organisation, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Clear communicator with a customer-focused, proactive approach.
