Mechanical and Eletrical Senior Quantity Surveyor

Senior Mechanical & Electrical Quantity Surveyor Manchester £75,000  Company Car / Allowance  Benefits We are seeking an experienced Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor to join a growing commercial team delivering high-value building services projects across the North West and beyond. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially astute QS who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to play a key role in major mechanical and electrical installations.

The Role You will take full commercial responsibility for M&E packages from pre-construction through to final account, working closely with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing the commercial performance of mechanical and electrical projects Preparing, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and subcontracts Cost planning, forecasting, and reporting Valuations, variations, and change management Procurement of specialist M&E subcontract packages Risk and value management Producing monthly CVRs and financial reports Supporting and mentoring junior commercial staff Liaising with clients, consultants, and supply chain partners About You We are looking for someone with strong technical knowledge of building services and a solid commercial background.

Requirements:
Proven experience as an M&E Quantity Surveyor (Senior level preferred) Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical services installations Experience working for an M&E contractor or specialist subcontractor Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities Excellent negotiation and communication skills Good understanding of contract forms (e.g., JCT, NEC) Proficient in cost reporting and commercial management systems Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline (preferred) Full UK driving licence What's On Offer Salary up to £75,000 depending on experience Company car or car allowance Pension scheme 25 days holiday  bank holidays Career progression opportunities within a growing business Supportive and collaborative team environment If you're an experienced M&E QS ready to step into a senior role with real responsibility and long-term progression, we'd love to hear from you.
