Shift Heating Ventilation Engineer

Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for a Mechanical Engineer to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.

• Interpret and make judgements across a wide range of issues, understanding the complexity of pre‑planned maintenance, reactive maintenance, unplanned events and emergencies.
• Diagnose and repair faults in engineering, electrical and/or plumbing installations, plant and equipment.
• Deliver high standards of workmanship across complex systems and understanding the relationship between mechanical and electrical systems.
• Actively monitor the CAFM system to ensure all tasks are assigned within appropriate timescales and issues are resolved proactively.
• Observe statutory requirements including health and safety, Electricity at Work Regulations, asbestos, legionella and COSHH regulations.

• Experience diagnosing and repairing faults across engineering, electrical and/or plumbing systems.
• NVQ level 3 in Electrical/Mechanical engineering or equivariant.
• IOSH Working safely.
• Completion of a structured training programme in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering for a minimum of 3 years.
