• Leading the maintenance team across the shift pattern to achieve desired uptime and quality requirements.
• Plan and schedule Preventive Planned Maintenance (PPM) works and drive the annual Planned Maintenance (PM) plan.
• Promote continuous improvement in overall plant operations by reducing downtime wherever possible.
• Train, advise and mentor maintenance team members as appropriate, where relevant training/standards in own performance have been achieved.

• Relevant NVQ Level 3 or equivalent apprenticeship in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering - Mechanical preferred.
• Demonstrable leadership behaviours and qualities; we can consider a technician or engineer looking to take a step up.
• Previous experience of maintenance of a wide range of machinery.
• Ability to think critically, utilising data in complex decision‑making scenarios.
