The Opportunity

As a Technical Specialist, you’ll be the technical authority across key projects—leading from the front, ensuring excellence in delivery, and driving innovation across the team.

  • Lead high‑value technical projects and ensure delivery on time, budget, and quality
  • Take ownership of technical governance and engineering standards
  • Champion a culture of innovation, safety, and continuous improvement
  • Provide mentorship and coaching, developing the next generation of engineers
  • Roll up your sleeves with hands‑on problem solving and system optimisation
What You’ll Bring Essential:
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
  • 10+ years’ experience in mechanical/manufacturing engineering
  • Strong background in electro‑mechanical system design & testing
  • Expertise in automation, machines, and system integration
  • Proven track record leading large or multiple complex projects
  • Advanced knowledge of engineering standards (BS8888, GD&T, etc.)
  • A hands‑on, problem‑solving mindset and ability to deliver end‑to‑end projects
Desirable:
  • Automation safety standards (ISO 12100, ISO 13849, etc.)
  • Industry 4.0 / 5.0 awareness
  • PLC or programming experience (C++, Python, IEC 61131)
  • Hydraulics, Pneumatics, or vision systems knowledge
