Generator & BESS Service Engineer Salary, Benefits & Hours
- GBP
40,000-GBP
45,000 per annum, depending on experience - Door-to-door travel paid
- Overtime available with enhanced earning potential
- No weekend work required

- Carry out service, maintenance, and fault-finding on generator and energy storage systems
- Diagnose and resolve electrical and control-related issues in the field
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers as required
- Work closely with internal teams to resolve technical and operational issues
- Complete service records and technical reports accurately
- Background in power generation, electrical engineering, or similar field-based role
- Experience with control systems, switch gear, or power-related equipment
- Knowledge of synchronisation, load sharing, or system integration (advantageous)
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and wiring diagrams
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
- Home-based, field service position
- Travel to customer sites as part of day-to-day duties
- Occasional visits to company locations when required
- Mix of planned maintenance and reactive work
- Role offers autonomy with structured support network
